Well, for starters, my name is Carissa. I adore hats; I have one to match every outfit. My goal is to get one for every day of the year (although I doubt that will ever happen). My favorite color is sapphire blue, favorite animal is tied between moose and fish and butterflies, favorite band is tied between Relient K, hellogoodbye, Stellar Kart, and Eleventyseven. I'm 20, feel old every time I say that, and going to be a junior at Western Michigan University this fall. I have one sister who's autistic, Laura, and we live with our parents. We have a dog (Daisy), a cat (Lilith), and I have my own little female betta (who used to be named Eydis until she passed her life expectancy by several months, so now she's Miracle). Um... we go to Cherry Creek Community Church (nothing short of awesome) and I was a helper at AWANA and now I'm a sponsor/oldest student for the youth group, EndZone. What else... oh. I'm a proud ex-student of Tucker Rafferty's drama and screenwriting class in downtown Kalamazoo at the Epic Center, and a few of us are known to pay visits to the class when either our classes get canceled for the day or we just don't want to go to class... Don't judge me. ^^'' I've always liked writing, but I really got into it a few years ago in freshman year when my English teacher assigned us to write a story about a monster and its defeat. We had this horrible substitute Algebra teacher at the time, so she turned into the Sedden-thing and my four characters- based off my friends Kassy, Beery, and Kirstin, and also me (that's how we got our nicknames, actually) killed her. Actually, Emerald (Kassy) killed her with a Swiss army knife. Kassy liked it so we turned it into a collection of short stories and oneshots, now known as English Paper. There are four writers (me (Q/Qzie), Kassy (Emerald), Steph (Radar), and Kelly (Hazel/Doodleheimer), and we have a fabulous editor, Kirstin ("K"). The website is due for a makeover. :) A few years after starting EPSE (the story collection), I started my own project called The Other Chronicles. In hindsight, it's really horrible, but I still like the basic idea. Then in 2006 I made a romance for NaNoWriMo, and that was still really horrible, but I liked some parts enough to re-use. Very shortly after that, I started on Fine Line, which is my baby. Also, last year was a playwriting competition, and my one-act play "Stockholm Syndrome: I Love You, Can I Use The Bathroom?" made it in, along with my friend Kassy's (The Dying White Rose), our friend Danielle (Moth), and our friend Dan (I Dream in 8-bit). There was also a play by one of our classmates, Lani (she's a right little brat). Funnily enough, my friend since birth (and I mean that literally), Chad, made it into three of the plays. And you know the rest! So, I guess that's all I have to say. Chat later! ^^ -Qzie |
...Why do you think I'm a writer with a website? :D
So here are the multiple ways you can contact me:
1) (The best way to reach me) My primary email. rainangel03@gmail.com
2) My slightly-neglected email. water_pixie_3@yahoo.com (I was very young)
3) PMs on FictionPress.
4) PMs on FanFiction.
5) The guestbook.
6) Twitter.
7) Finding where I live, finding where my room is, finding out where I'm most likely to be every second of every day... and stalking me. Please don't do that. ^^
8) Telepathy. (That probably won't work)
9) Or just leave a review. ^^
